Safety & Security Director
The Safety and Security Director will provide oversight and guidance for the DPN's case management team, engage directly with applicants and beneficiaries, and provide thought partnership to the DPN’s leadership on the continued evolution of the DPN to meet the needs of the democracy ecosystem. Successful candidates must have extensive proficiency in at least 2 of the following areas:
- Expertise in at least one core area of holistic security (physical, digital, and/or wellbeing)
- Experience engaging in risk analysis or providing direct technical assistance to enhance safety and security of vulnerable individuals
- Experience providing trauma-informed assistance to individuals and/or organizations in crisis situations.
- Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations.
This is a remote role. The position will report to the DPN Network Director and may have supervisory responsibility for members of the case management team as it grows.
